Interim Head of FP&A (Industrials, PE-Backed Business)

Location: France (Hybrid)
Rate: €1,200 - €1,500 per day

I’m seeking a highly experienced Interim Head of FP&A. This role offers a unique opportunity to build the FP&A function from scratch, drive financial performance, and shape the company’s long-term success. You will work closely with the CFO to develop financial strategies and decision-making frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Lead FPA Excellence: Establish a top-tier financial planning and analysis (FPA) framework by defining key roles, processes, and value drivers
• Partner closely with the CFO, offering data-driven financial insights to support critical decision-making
• Design and implement robust financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis frameworks
• Streamline and standardize financial reporting processes, eliminating inconsistencies and improving clarity
• Work with divisional leaders to align financial strategies with business goals, fostering financial accountability across the organization

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Interim Head of FP&A in a PE-backed business
• Extensive background in the Industrials, aerospace industry (or closely related sectors)
• Strong understanding of finance and management accounting, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
• Strong project management and analytical skills with a results-driven, hands-on mentality
• Fluent in English (French is a plus)
