We are exclusively partnering with a leading financial services group to appoint an Associate within its Valuation & Structuring team. This pivotal role sits at the heart of an ambitious and highly active acquisition strategy, providing the opportunity to analyse, value and structure transactions across the UK market.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading the development of sophisticated financial models to support acquisition valuations and strategic decision-making.
• Assessing target company performance to determine appropriate valuation methodologies and pricing recommendations.
• Conducting sensitivity analysis and scenario modelling to evaluate deal structures, commercial terms and potential financial outcomes.
• Preparing high-quality financial reports, presentations and investment papers, clearly articulating valuation assumptions and conclusions.
• Collaborating with key stakeholders across the business to ensure financial models align with strategic objectives.
• Providing insight into optimal transaction structures, including earn-outs, financing arrangements and exit considerations.
• Partnering with legal, finance and commercial teams to ensure transactions meet strategic goals and regulatory requirements.
• Supporting financial due diligence activities across prospective acquisitions.
• Ensuring valuation assumptions and transaction structures are accurately reflected within integration planning processes.
• Performing post-acquisition analysis to evaluate financial performance, value creation and return on investment.

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience in financial modelling, valuation and transaction structuring within investment banking, corporate finance or a Big Four advisory firm.
• Experience within financial services, particularly the UK financial advice market, would be advantageous.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance, valuation methodologies, deal structuring and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of UK regulatory frameworks, including FCA requirements, adviser business models and client servicing structures, is desirable.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Meticulous attention to detail combined with a strategic and commercially minded approach.
• ACA, CFA or a similar professional qualification is highly desirable.

• Proven experience in a senior data leadership role within wealth management, asset management or broader financial services (e.g., Head of Data, Chief Data Officer or equivalent).
• Strong strategic, operational and analytical skills, with a track record of delivering cross functional data driven programmes to completion.
• Demonstrable experience leading complex data or digital transformations, including data architecture, data governance, ML/AI enablement and data monetisation.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage senior executives, boards and external partners.
• Commercially astute, able to align data strategy and delivery with business outcomes, revenue opportunities and client value propositions.
• Highly organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities in a fast p paced environment.
• Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, data privacy and data management best practices relevant to UK wealth management.
• Hands on but strategically focused: comfortable contributing technically when needed while driving the overarching data strategy and commercial ambitions.

Interim Head of Accounting – Munich

Mid-Sized Financial Services Business

A growing mid-sized financial services business based in Munich is seeking an experienced Interim Head of Accounting to lead and stabilise the accounting function during a period of operational development and finance transformation.

Working closely with senior finance leadership, the successful candidate will take ownership of day-to-day accounting operations, ensure high-quality financial reporting and compliance, and support ongoing process improvement initiatives within a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the accounting function, including general ledger, AP/AR, and month-end close processes
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
• Oversee HGB accounting compliance and support external audit processes
• Drive improvements across accounting processes, controls, and reporting quality
• Manage cash reconciliation, balance sheet reviews, and accounting governance
• Support finance transformation and systems/process optimisation initiatives
• Coordinate with tax advisors, auditors, and external stakeholders where required
• Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team during a period of change and growth

Candidate Profile

• Experienced accounting leader with prior Head of Accounting or senior finance management experience
