Head of FP&A | PE-backed TICC Business
Location: London (Hybrid)
Sector: TICC (Testing, Inspection, Compliance, and Certification)
Compensation: £110,000 - £130,000 + bonus

Overview
We are partnering with a high-growth, private equity-backed professional services business to appoint a commercially focused Head of FP&A. This is a pivotal role, working closely with the CFO and senior leadership team to drive financial insight, performance, and strategic decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the financial planning and analysis function, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
• Provide clear, actionable insights on business performance, including variance analysis and KPI reporting
• Partner with senior stakeholders to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and commercial opportunities
• Develop and enhance financial models to support growth, M&A activity, and operational improvement
• Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, systems, and data quality
• Support board reporting and investor communications, ensuring high-quality, timely outputs
• Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A team

Candidate Profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Proven experience in an FP&A leadership role, ideally within a private equity-backed or high-growth environment
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills
• Experience in professional services or a similar people-driven business is advantageous
• Proactive, hands-on approach with a track record of driving change and improving processes
