Interim Head of Finance (m/f/d)

Start: Immediately
Duration: 3 months with option to extend or transition to permanent employment

Our client is a fast-growing IT and software company focused on Artificial Intelligence, which has recently received an investment from a Private Equity fund. As part of the further professionalisation of the Finance function, an Interim Head of Finance is being sought at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for the Finance function as well as leadership and further development of the two-person Finance team.

• Managing reporting, budgeting, forecasting, liquidity planning and further development of financial processes using LucaNet.

• Close collaboration with C-level management and the PE investor on M&A and Corporate Finance topics.

• Management of external service providers (Payroll, Accounting, Tax) as well as supporting the further scaling of the Finance organisation.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in Transaction Services, Investment Banking or Corporate Finance, ideally complemented by experience as a Head of Finance or CFO.

• Very good knowledge of LucaNet as well as experience in PE-backed growth companies and multi-entity structures.

• Strong affinity for technology and AI, with an understanding of AI-based business models ("AI Native").

• Fluent German and English language skills.
