Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

B2B SaaS | Private Equity-Backed | ~€30m Revenue

The Role

Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Board and investors, the CFO will lead all financial aspects of a €30m B2B business undergoing a transition to a scalable, recurring revenue SaaS model.

The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, with a strong focus on supporting the company’s transformation, building a best-in-class finance function, and driving value creation in a private equity environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ownership of all finance functions: accounting, reporting, FP&A, tax, treasury, and compliance
  • Development of robust financial planning, forecasting, and board reporting
  • Supporting the transition to a SaaS model, including implementation of relevant KPIs (ARR, MRR, churn, LTV/CAC)
  • Driving commercial insight around pricing, customer economics, and growth initiatives
  • Leading the professionalisation and digitalisation of finance, including systems (ERP, BI) and data infrastructure
  • Acting as a key interface to investors, including board reporting, performance tracking, and support on financing or exit processes
  • Building and leading a high-performing finance team and partnering closely with Sales, Product, and Operations

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience as CFO or senior finance leader in a PE-backed and/or high-growth environment
  • Strong exposure to SaaS or recurring revenue models, with a clear understanding of associated KPIs and commercial drivers
  • Track record of building and scaling finance functions in dynamic, transformation-driven environments
  • Experience in financial planning, performance management, and investor reporting
  • Ideally experience supporting fundraising, refinancing, or exit processes
  • Strong systems and data mindset, including experience with ERP and BI tools
  • Hands-on, pragmatic approach combined with strategic thinking capability
  • Commercially driven, with the ability to partner effectively with senior stakeholders and investors
  • Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable operating in an evolving, PE-backed environment
