Sector: Consumer Services (PE-backed)
Salary: £85,000 – £95,000 + bonus

We are delighted to be partnering with a leading, private equity–backed consumer services business that is undergoing a period of significant transformation. As a large, established organisation with a substantial national footprint, the business is focused on operational excellence, performance improvement, and value creation as it embarks on the next stage of its journey.

The Role

The business is seeking to appoint a Group FP&A Manager to strengthen group-level planning, reporting, and performance management. This high-profile role will provide analytical insight and commercial challenge to senior leadership, playing a key part in shaping financial strategy and supporting investor engagement.

Reporting into the FP&A Director, the successful candidate will oversee all aspects of group FP&A, ensuring best-in-class processes while driving improvements in financial analysis and decision support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the group’s budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning cycles.
  • Provide clear, insightful analysis of group performance against budget, forecast, and prior periods.
  • Partner with senior executives and business unit leaders to influence decision-making and drive value creation.
  • Deliver high-quality board and investor reporting, including scenario modelling and covenant analysis.
  • Support transformation initiatives, including restructuring, efficiency programmes, and investment appraisal.
  • Enhance FP&A tools, models, and reporting frameworks to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing robust financial insight and challenge.

About You

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a strong FP&A background.
  • Experience in a large, complex, and multi-site business, ideally in consumer services or related sectors.
  • Exposure to PE-backed or highly leveraged environments desirable.
  • Proven ability to deliver clear insight to senior management and investors.
  • Exceptional financial modelling and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic, transformative environment.
