Head of Finance 
Financial Services

Uo to £80,000 

We are exclusively partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed Financial Services business, entering an exciting phase of transformation and investment. Backed by a leading private equity firm, this organisation is reshaping and elevating its finance function to align with its scale, sophistication, and future ambitions. 

As part of this evolution, the business is seeking a Head of Finance to lead all aspects of financial control, accounting, and reporting across a complex, multi-entity, multi-currency environment. Reporting directly to the Group CFO, this role will be instrumental in strengthening financial governance, embedding robust processes, and ensuring best-in-class reporting standards as the company scales internationally. 

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced finance leader to take ownership of a global finance function within a fast-paced, transformational FS environment. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Leading and developing the financial control and reporting teams, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement 
• Overseeing all statutory, regulatory, and management reporting across multiple jurisdictions 
• Driving the design and implementation of robust accounting policies, controls, and governance frameworks 
• Ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial statements and consolidated group accounts 
• Managing audit processes and relationships with external auditors, ensuring full compliance with IFRS and local reporting requirements 
• Strengthening internal controls and risk management processes across global operations 
• Overseeing treasury, cash management, and working capital optimisation 
• Supporting ongoing systems integration and automation (Dynamics 365 experience advantageous) 
• Collaborating with Private Equity investors and senior leadership on financial stewardship, value creation, and transformation initiatives 

The Ideal Candidate: 

• ACA (or equivalent) qualified, with significant post-qualification experience in Financial Services or other regulated industries 
• Proven experience leading financial control and reporting functions in a complex, multinational environment 
• Strong technical accounting background, ideally with exposure to IFRS and consolidation of large multi-entity groups 
• Demonstrated ability to build and develop high-performing teams in dynamic, fast-evolving organisations 
• Hands-on and delivery-focused, with strong attention to detail and operational excellence 
• Prior experience within Private Equity-backed or transformation-led businesses highly desirable 
• International experience managing multi-currency operations and global reporting structures
