Position Overview
Our client is a market-leading Nordic technology platform providing mission-critical business software and integrated financial solutions.
We are seeking an operational, highly analytical Head of Finance to serve as a key lieutenant to the Chief Financial Officer. Sitting on the CFO Leadership Team, you will bridge strategic vision with operational execution—leading functional finance teams across Accounting, FP&A, and Business Intelligence, while building a scalable financial engine to drive long-term value creation.
Key Responsibilities

Executive Leadership & Strategic Support: Take an active seat on the CFO Leadership Team, contributing to cross-functional strategy, governance, and board-level reporting packages.

SaaS Unit Economics & Commercial Steering: Partner with FP&A and BI to track, model, and optimize core recurring revenue metrics (ARR/MRR, Churn, LTV, Net Revenue Retention, and Gross Margins).

Planning & Forecasting: Direct annual budgeting, rolling operational forecasts, and multi-year strategic financial modeling.

Team Management & Development: Lead, mentor, and scale functional team leads across Accounting, FP&A, and Business Intelligence.

AI & Modernization Agenda: Drive the adoption of modern finance technology, automated workflows, and predictive analytics across core finance functions.

Financial Operations & Control: Oversee monthly/annual closing processes (IFRS, revenue recognition/subscription accounting), cash flow management, working capital, and external audit relationships.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications

Leadership Experience: 5+ years of progressive financial leadership experience (e.g., Senior Controller, FP&A Lead, Finance Director, or Head of Finance) with a track record of direct people management.

Domain Expertise: Deep fluency in subscription/SaaS business models, recurring revenue accounting, and complex unit economics. Experience in fintech, transactional platforms, or private equity-backed environments is highly preferred.

Systems & Analytics Fluency: Advanced command of modern ERP environments, BI platforms, data automation tools, and automated close processes.

Education: Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Language Skills: Professional fluency in Swedish and English (written and spoken) is required.
