Job Description

I’m currently looking for a Group Finance Controller for a permanent position based in Northern Germany.

Our client is an international manufacturer in the automotive industry, employing around 1,000 people worldwide. The company has recently expanded into innovative areas such as e-mobility.

To support its continued growth, the company is now seeking a Group Finance Controller to join its team.

Salary: €130,000 – €140,000 (approx.) 

Responsibilities: 

• Actively contribute to the design and further development of controlling to support and prepare strategic decisions and operational improvement measures
• Conduct regular evaluations and comments on business and financial performance on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Continuous improvement of group-wide forecasting and budget planning processes
• Optimization of the existing reporting landscape
• Support in the implementation of new systems and processes in controlling.

Requirements:

• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
• Completed relevant degree or comparable training
• Several years of professional experience in a similar position with an international focus
• Extensive knowledge of setting up and maintaining cost accounting and preliminary costing
• Knowledge of inventory valuation and rolling liquidity planning
