Job Description
M&A Manager:
- JOB PURPOSE: Research and evaluate acquisition opportunities both strategically and financially, manage the acquisition process jointly with countries and business lines, maintain & develop acquisition operating controls and systems. Support recruitment and training of junior team members.
2. MAIN DUTIES:

- Research & analysis
- To research and identify potential new acquisition opportunities in existing, as well as new markets
- Analyse and assess businesses that are for sale or opportunities identified by the business globally
- Valuation work- standalone and benchmark valuation against comparable transactions
- Preparation and presentation of findings on such research to senior management
b) Managing the acquisition processes
- Determine the due diligence requirements and appointment of advisers
- Development and management of the acquisition timetable and work streams
- Preparation of management and Board presentations for approval of
transactions
- Participating in negotiations and preparation of agreements
c) Maintain & develop acquisition operating controls and systems
- Ensure compliance with operating controls and systems
- Reporting and monitoring of post-acquisition performance and success of integration
d) Cooperate closely with the Innovation team which is part of the Corporate Development Group
- Idea sharing and work on partnerships with companies prior to or as an alternative to an acquisition
